2 most wanted persons arrested in Las Piñas

Members of the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) arrested two wanted persons for carnapping and illegal drugs in separate police operations on Friday, November 1.

PCol. Sandro Tafalla, Las Piñas City Police chief, identified the arrested suspects as “Rodel,” 32, and “Ricky,”49.

Rodel, who is the Top 6 most wanted person in district level, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Phoeve Castillo Meer of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 275 on September 17, 2024, for violation of Republic Act 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016) with a bail recommended of P300,000.

Meanwhile, Ricky, who is tagged as Top 5 most wanted person for the month of November, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 200 on September 20, 2024, for service of sentence for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) .
