Over 1,300 Caloocan residents complete livelihood training course


A total of 1337 individuals completed Caloocan City's free livelihood training course on Tuesday, November 19. 

The city government spearheaded the program through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Caloocan City CoManpower Training Center (CCMTC).

“Congratulations sa CCTMC at sa lahat ng Batang Kankaloo na nagsumikap upang magkaroon ng pagkakataong palaguin pa ang kanilang kakayanan at masuportahan ang pangangailangan ng kanilang mga pamilya (Congratulations to CCTMC and all the Batang Kankaloo who worked hard to have the opportunity to further develop their skills and support the needs of their families),” Mayor Along Malapitan said.

“Hiling ko na mapakinabangan at magamit niyo ang lahat ng mga karagdagang kaalaman at karanasan na natutunan ninyo upang patuloy na mapalapit sa inyong mga pinansyal na hangarin (I wish you to take advantage and use all the additional knowledge and experience you have learned to continue to get closer to your financial goals),” he added.

The program provides skills training in various fields, including automotive servicing, cosmetic science, and electrical installation and repair.

Malapitan assured the residents that the LGU would prioritize providing stable employment and livelihood programs.

“Asahan niyo po ang walang patid na suporta at pagsisikap ng ating pamahalaang lungsod upang bumuo ng mga programa para sa kabuhayan at trabaho ng mga mamamayan upang mas mapaunlad ng pamumuhay ng bawat Batang Kankaloo (Please expect the continuous support and efforts of our city government to develop programs for the livelihood and employment of the citizens so that the lives of every Batang Kankaloo can be better developed)," he said.
