“Tick-Tack” is a pop track about the ever-changing voice in the head that leaves one disoriented between the desire to show only a certain side of oneself and anxiety over hiding all others.

The unique, upbeat scat singing (“Tick-Tack”) in the chorus lingers with the listener long after the initial listen, resembling the sound of a clock ticking and the fickle mind that changes by the second.

According to Billboard, “I’ll Like You” debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at No. 94.

Seven months after their record-breaking debut with the Billboard Hot 100-charting single “Magnetic” from “Super Real Me,” ILLIT released their “I’ll Like You” on Oct. 21.

Full of curiosity for the world that surrounds them, the five members of ILLIT tell the story of the “self” that becomes deeply immersed in their encounter with “you” they wish to get closer to in “I’ll Like You.”

Five tracks comprise the album: ”I’ll Like You,” the medium pop opening track that shares its name with the album, sets the enigmatic yet charming undertone for the rest of the tracklist. Following the lead single “Cherish (My Love)” is the 2-step garage track “IYKYK (If You Know You Know),” the dreamy “Pimple,” and the dynamic pop track “Tick-Tack.”

ILLIT slid into top spots on musical charts around the world with ease with their debut seven months ago.

“Magnetic” made history as the first-ever K-pop debut track to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 charts, peaking at No. 91 and No. 80 respectively. “Magnetic” was also recognized as the most globally streamed K-pop song released in the first half of 2024.
