The Environmental Management Bureau National Capital Region (EMB-NCR) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) brought the EMB-NCR Permitting on Wheels for Environment Regulations (EMPOWER) program to Parañaque City Hall for quick processing of environmental permits.
Mayor Eric Olivarez said the EMPOWER program aims to bring the environmental compliance application and renewal closer to applicants from November 19 to 21.
Olivarez said the EMB-NCR Clearance and Permitting Division will provide services for the following: Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC); Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC); WasteWater Discharge Permit (WWDP), Permit to Operate (PTO); Hazardous Waste Generation ID (HWG ID); and Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation.
Lawyer Voltaire dela Cruz, who represented Olivarez, thanked the DENR-EMB for bringing their services closer to the city’s residents because they no longer need to travel all the way to Quezon City to apply for their permits.
He said applicants can call the EMB-NCR Clearance and Permitting Division at 0962-542-9501 for additional details.
