Are currently leads the scoring department after averaging 17.88 points per game, eclipsing Lyceum’s John Barba (17.61 average) and Letran’s Jimboy Estrada (16.76 ave).

The 5-foot-8 spitfire is also the top free throw player with a 5.18-point average, as well as in the steals department (2.53 ave), while placing third in assists (4.35 ave), fourth in 2-point field goals made (4.41 ave), fifth in field goals made (5.71 ave), and sixth in free throw percentages made (72.73 percent ave).

Completing the Top 5 scorers are Jose Rizal University’s Joshua Guiab (16.56 ave) and reigning Most Valuable Player Clint Escamis of Mapua (15.44 ave).

Liwag, for his part, is the top rebounder in the elims with 11.28 boards per game including a 3.39-average on offensive rebounds where he is also at the helm. Trailing him are San Sebastian’s Tristan Felebrico (8.89 ave), Estrada (7.53 ave), Lyceum’s JM Bravo (7.0 ave) and Arellano’s Lorenz Capulong (6.56 ave).

Estrada, meanwhile, leads in assists with (5.82 ave) ahead of Lyceum’s Vincent Cunanan (5.18 ave) and Are, while Letran’s Kevin Santos spearheads the blocking department with 2.13 ave ahead of Jose Rizal University’s Ivan Panapanaan (1.28 ave) and Liwag (1.22 ave).

The Final Four fires off on Nov. 23 at the Cuneta Astrodome pitting last year’s bridesmaid and top seed Mapua against No. 4 Lyceum, and defending champion San Beda against second seed St. Benilde. The Cardinals and the Blazers enjoy twice-to-beat semis advantages.
