Alias 'Boss,' cohort, yield P340K shabu in Silang buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities nabbed two drug suspects and confiscated P340,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Silang on Monday, Nov. 18.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the high-value individual as alias Boss and the street-level individual as alias Ryan.

More or less 50 grams of white crystalline substance were seized during the joint operation of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Silang Municipal Police Station (MPS), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cavite.

The suspects are now under the custody of Silang MPS.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, meanwhile, will be turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City.

In a statement, Cavite PPO Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre commended the operating units for their coordinated efforts.

"The successful apprehension of these individuals and the seizure of a significant amount of illegal drugs highlight our relentless efforts to combat illegal drug activities in Cavite,” Alegre said.
