When it comes to men's grooming essentials, one of the local brands at the forefront is Camou. Founded by James Lee, a pediatric ophthalmologist Brian Tee, and JR Santiago, Camou is a men’s grooming brand built to address men’s skincare needs. 

Launched on TikTok Shop in September 2023, Camou quickly captivated attention with its flagship product, the Mattifying Sunstick. This sunstick is made with skincare ingredients that give SPF protection and hydrate, soothe, and brighten the skin.  Since then, the brand has introduced new products. 

Here are some that are worth trying if you’re a guy who’s looking for a men-specific skincare line. 

Bamboo Charcoal Brightening Scrub
Made with 12 plant oils and extracts, this face and body exfoliator brightens the skin, helps control oil, and addresses acne. 

Niacinamide Body Lotion with Sunscreen 
This is a lightweight and non-greasy brightening lotion formulated with licorice root and glutathione. 

Dark Spot Brightening Serum
Most serums are used for the face alone, but this one can also be used on other dark spots, such as underarms, knees, and elbows. 

On top of offering quality products, Camou is also actively engaging with its audience on TikTok and educating them about men’s grooming and hygiene with different skincare products.
