Government anti-narcotics authorities confiscated on Monday, Nov. 18, a total of P29,920,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Palawan Zone II, Barangay Divisoria in Zamboanga City.
In a report, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Ashraf Kayzar Ikbala, 40, of Barangay Tumaga was nabbed at around 11:05 a.m. after receiving information of his whereabouts.
Aside from the more or less 4.4 kilograms of shabu, the operatives also recovered a plastic bag, sling bag, paper bag, green tea bag and the bundle of money with a genuine P1,000 bill on top used as the buy-bust money.
The operation was carried out by the PDEA Zamboanga City Office Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the Naval Intelligence and Security Group (NISG)-Western Mindanao.
