Pasay mayor inspects relief packs, rescue equipment due to ST 'Pepito'

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano inspected the readiness of the team from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) for the possible impact of Super Typhoon Pepit.

Rubiano said CSWDO already packed and divided relief goods containing food packs, blankets, medicines, and other necessities for distribution needed by residents who will be affected by flooding.

The DRRMO already prepared the rescue equipments like rubber boats at the City Hall lobby for immediate deployment and rescue operations.

The mayor also conducted inspections around the city and those she met along the street without any important appointments to do outside their residences were told to go home and just stay at home.

Rubiano urged residents to pray the Oratio Imperata for safety and to keep everyone away from danger caused by Typhoon #PepitoPh.
