Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced the suspension of classes in all levels both in public and private schools on Monday, November 18 due to Super Typhoon Pepito.
Aguilar said the suspension of classes was made after the Philippine Atmospheric and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 in Metro Manila.
She said the city government prioritized the safety of students, teachers, and residents in going to school during typhoon.
Residents are advised to be alert and check the city government for announcements and weather conditions.
