Classes in Bulacan suspended due to STY Pepito


Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando announced the class suspension at all levels both public and private schools from Sunday, November 17 to Monday, November 18 due to Super Typhoon Pepito.

Fernando has alerted the emergency response units of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) as the province braces for the onslaught of the typhoon. 

The PDRRMC is monitoring the situation, and all emergency response teams are on standby, ready to be deployed as the need arises, the Bulacan governor said.

Meanwhile, Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad advised the public to remain vigilant of the possible effects of the typhoon, local government advised the public to stay indoors and keep monitoring for weather advisories.

Residents, especially in high-risk areas, are also warned to evacuate and comply with local authorities to ensure the safety of everyone.

Natividad said the Malolos Police are also relentless in their preparation for Super Typhoon "Pepito".  

Lt.Col. Rommel E. Geneblazo, acting police chief in the city, led the inspection of the readiness of the Malolos PNP forces, including the inspection of the Search and Rescue Equipment of the City Police Station.
