Magalong also suspended work in city government offices from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Work resumes at 1 p.m.

However, Magalong said work remains for those involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster response, and other vital services.

“Work in all local agencies of national government offices, not otherwise providing critical emergency services, shall likewise be suspended subject to clearance from their respective regional and central office,” he said.

The suspension of work in private companies and offices was left to the discretion of their heads.

Vehicle number coding was suspended.

Meanwhile, the BLISTT Council closed Kennon Road effective 1 p.m. on Nov.  17 due to Pepito. Only residents of Kennon Road will be allowed to pass.
