Man yields grenade inside cemetery in Pasay

A 29 year-old man in possession of a hand grenade was arrested inside a public cemetery in Pasay City by members of the Station Intelligence Section (SIS) of the Pasay City Police on Friday, November 15.

The police identified the suspect as "Bry."  

Bry was arrested by the SIS operatives who were conducting a verification and surveillance operation for the arrest of a criminal group leader inside the cemetery.

According to the team, they saw the suspect shouting and threatening bystanders around him with the hand grenade, prompting them to immediately arrest him.

The suspect was charged for violation of RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives).
