Man shot dead in Ilocos Sur

CAMP PRESIDENT QUIRINO, Bantay, Ilocos Sur â€“ A man was found dead with multiple bullet wounds in Barangay Ambugat, Burgos, this province, on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Police identified the victim as Allan Bobiles of Barangay Mapanit, Burgos and Barangay Suso, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur.

Barangay officials received a report that the body of a man was found in the area.

Police proceeded to the area where they found the body of the victim on the middle of the road. Bobiles sustained bullet wounds in the head and other parts of the body.

Recovered in the area were three empty .45 caliber shells.

Police said the victim was killed on Friday night. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
