Dela Rosa looked like a woman on a mission as she orchestrated an 11-2 blitz along with Sarah Makanjuola to give the Blue Eagles a commanding 60-46 lead early in the payoff period.

It was enough to propel the semifinal-bound Ateneo to its eighth win against five losses.

The 20-year-old Dela Rosa delivered her 13th double-double performance this season by firing 19 points and hauling 14 rebounds on top of two assists, four steals and five blocks.

Makanjuola, for her part, also delivered a double-double effort of 14 points and 17 boards.

Rachel Lacayanga, who kept UE within striking distance in the final canto before losing steam, registered 21 points along with nine rebounds and five steals, while Jearzy Ganade had 12 points in a losing cause.

It was the 12th straight defeat for the Lady Warriors, who further plummeted to the bottom standings at 1-12.

Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas reaffirmed its mastery over Adamson, 60-47, for its second straight win.

Tacky Tacatac and Kent Pastrana scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Tigresses, who stayed at second with an 11-2 record.

The Lady Falcons fell to 8-5 and tied with the Blue Eagles at third to fourth places.

Earlier, University of the Philippines ended its five-game skid after beating fellow cellar-dweller Far Eastern University, 76-61, for 4-9.

The Lady Tams slid to 3-10.
