Region 4A's most wanted for statutory rape, sexual assault nabbed in Alfonso, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities arrested Region 4A’s most wanted person for sexual offenses against a minor in Alfonso on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as alias John, 33 years old.

The suspect was collared by virtue of an arrest warrant for statutory rape and sexual assault in relation to the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.

The warrant of arrest was issued by the Family Court, Fourth Judicial Region Brach 3 in Tagaytay City, with no bail for statutory rape.

In a statement, Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre commended the successful warrant service operation undertaken by the Alfonso Municipal Police Station.
