Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan announced on his Facebook page that the city government received its 8th consecutive Seal of Good Governance this year.

It was given to us after we passed the intense examination of the DILG in various aspects such as proper and honest care and spending of the public treasury, fast and efficient business process, environmental protection, disaster preparedness, and promoting tourism, youth development, social protection, health, and education),” Malapitan said.

The city mayor expressed his gratitude to his constituents.

“Mga Batang Kankaloo, sama-sama po nating pinaghirapan at pinagtrabahuan ang parangal na ito kaya sa pagtanggap natin sa ika-walong pagkakataon ng Seal of Good Local Governance kasama ko rin po kayong lahat sa tagumpay na ito (Batang Kankaloo, we worked hard and worked together for this award, so as we receive the Seal of Good Local Governance for the eighth time, I am with you all in this success),” he said.
