BACOLOD CITY – The body of a suspected “salvage” or summary execution victim was found at the seawall of Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, this city, on Tuesday night, Nov. 12.
Police Major Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 2, said the victim was covered with a sack.
Both legs were tied with a rope and both hands were also tied with a sleeveless shirt.
Tolentino said a group of passersby noted the body and reported their discovery to the police.
The victim’s ears were severed and had a bullet wound in the back that exited through the chest.
Police said the victim was killed somewhere and dumped in the area.
Tolentino said they are coordinating with other police stations here and Negros Occidental to identify the victim and determine the motive and perpetrators.
