Container falls from 16-wheeler truck, causes heavy traffic along Bonifacio Drive in Manila

A container from a 16-wheeler truck fell onto the roadside in Intramuros, Manila on Tuesday afternoon, November 12.

According to the police report, the truck driver lost control while taking the roundabout at Anda Circle.

The overturned truck was immediately removed from the road by the authorities while the container was left and occupied almost two lanes of the Bonifacio Drive northbound causing long traffic along Padre Burgos.

Authorities managed to remove the container around 5 p.m. They said they had to wait for heavy duty truck to lift the container. 

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
