
All tropical cyclone wind signals have been lifted after Tropical Storm “Nika” (international name: Toraji) exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its final bulletin, PAGASA said the storm was last located 365 kilometers west of Calayan, Cagayan.
Nika has weakened from a severe tropical storm to a tropical storm, with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) near its center and gusts reaching 105 kph.
PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail across the country over the next 24 hours.
The public is advised to remain vigilant for the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
