21 wanted persons arrested in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera arrested 21 wanted individuals in the Cordillera region from Nov. 3 to 9.

The Baguio City Police Office arrested 10, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with six, Ifugao and Mountain Province PPO with two each, and Kalinga PPO, one.

Two of those apprehended were most wanted persons on the provincial level for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and theft.

Due to intensified police presence, 64 municipalities and six police stations in Baguio City were crime-free.

No crime incidents were reported in 21 towns in Abra, 10 each in Benguet and Mountain Province, nine in Ifugao, seven each in Apayao and Kalinga, and Police Stations 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 in Baguio City.
