Police Lt. Col. Anthony Grande, Himamaylan police chief, identified the victims as Salvador Inayan Jr., 55, and Salvador Inayan III, 25.
Grande said Salvador III allegedly touched a live wire hanging from a post while carrying a water container on his way home.
He slumped to the ground and a passerby saw him and informed his family about the incident.
Salvador Jr. touched his son but was also electrocuted from the exposure, Grande said.
The victims were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead.
Meanwhile, a 61-year-old man was killed and his five-year-old grandson was injured after their tricycle collided with a truck loaded with animal feeds in Barangay Ani-e, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Saturday.
Police Major Wilfredo Benoman Jr., Calatrava police chief, identified the victim as Sabiniano Amaro, 61.
Benoman said the tricycle driven by Amaro allegedly encroached on the opposite lane and rammed the truck that failed to avoid the collision due to its heavy load and the cliff terrain of the area.
Amaro was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead and his grandson recuperating.
Benoman said the truck driver was unharmed and under police custody.
