Dalipes switch positions in next year's polls

ZAMBOANGA CITY – The representatives in Congress of this city are disputing the mayoral seat.

Majority Leader and second district Rep. Mannix Dalipe goes up against first district Rep. Khymer Olaso.

Rep. Dalipe leads the administration party under Team Performance while Olaso is the standard-bearer for Team Zamboanga.

Rep. Dalipe is running with Mayor John Dalipe who filed his COC for second district representative.

Vice Mayor Pinpin Pareja is running for congressman of the first district.

Councilor Vino Guingona is running for vice mayor.

In Olaso’s slate are former Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco for vice mayor, former Liga ng mga Barangay President Jerry Perez for second district congressman, and Kaiser Olaso for first district congressman.

Both parties have fielded candidates for councilor in the two legislative districts.

Four other individuals are running for mayor here.
