Caloocan LGU starts school-based vaccination program vs infectious diseases

The Caloocan City government launched the school-based vaccination program on Tuesday, October 8, at Caloocan High School.

It was launched by the City Health Department (CHD) and the Schools Division Office (SDO).

To our parents, I invite you all to bring your children for vaccination so that we can all ensure the health of our students and prevent the spread of any disease that may affect their studies),” Mayor Along Malapitan said.

I also assure that these vaccines are safe for children and have no strange side effects, based on the assurance of doctors and other experts),” he added.

The program aims to vaccinate students in Grades 1, 4, and 7 to strengthen their resistance to infectious diseases, such as measles, rubella, tetanus, diphtheria, and human papillomavirus.

The city mayor vowed to implement health programs to ensure their healthy development.
