Reelectionist Rep. Aniela Bianca D. Tolentino of the eighth district of Cavite filed her Certificate of Candidacy on Tuesday, October 8.
Tolentino, daughter of Tagaytay City Mayor and Philippine Olympic Committee Chairman Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino, vowed a better life for her constituents.

“My primary goal as representative of the eighth district of Cavite is to ensure the improvement of the quality of life of Caviteños,” she said. “I can proudly say that we have done a lot,” she added.
“I am very thankful that Caviteños are reaping the benefits of the non-stop infrastructure and progress that are flowing continuously in our district during my term. I am praying and hoping that Caviteños in the eighth district will continue to put their trust on me and on my part, I will make sure that I will not fail them.”
Tolentino, during her first term, pursued the passage of 205 bills and resolutions and was vice chairperson of the House Committee on Youth and Sports Development, Committee on Science and Technology, and Committee on Public Works.
She also advocated approval of local bills and measures of national application such as Republic Act No. 11958 or the law rationalizing the pension of veterans; RA 11982 granting cash benefits to centenarians, nonagenarians, and octogenarians; RA 11960 or the One Town, One Product Law; RA No. 11967 or the Internet Transactions Act, and RA 11981 or the Tatak Pinoy Act.
Also filing their COCs before the Office of the Provincial Elections Supervisor in Trece Martires City, Cavite with Tolentino were youth leaders Raymond Ambion and Aimee Nazareno for board member of the eighth district composed of Tagaytay City and the municipalities of Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez, Naic, and Ternate.
