Manila Mayor Lacuna-Pangan expresses support for DILG Secretary Remulla

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan expressed her support for the newly appointed Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla.

"I am excited, as Mayor of the Philippines' Capital City, to work closely with Secretary Jonvic Remulla on LGU growth, public services, and public order and security," she said.

"For example, Secretary Jonvic and I are both well aware of the necessity of a Greater Manila Area approach to traffic, public transportation, public health, crime, and flood control," she added.

She said she believes that Secretary Jonvic will bring to the DILG a "deep wealth of wisdom" and experience in practical solutions and diplomacy in easing tensions.

"We, in Manila, have great respect and admiration for his competence and governance abilities," she added.
