The winners of the preliminary events held a few days before securing a fast-track to the Top 20. These were Miss Vietnam Anh Vuong Pham Thi (Best in National Costume), Miss Thailand Kanyaphatsaphon Rungrueang  (Best in Evening Gown), and Miss Germany Jennifer Prokop (Best in Swimsuit).
