Solon files COC for Baguio City mayor


BAGUIO CITY – Rep. Mark Go filed his Certificate of Candidacy for mayor here on Monday, October 7.

Go was joined by his running mate, Mylen Yaranon, and his Team Maka-Baguio Tayo slate – Councilors Leandro B. Yangot Jr., Elmer Datuin, Michael Lee Lawana, Jacqueline Dianne “JD” Balajadia-Tabora, Esther Litilit, Edison Bilog, and Michael Humiding.

His wife, Sol Go, also of the Team Maka-Baguio Tayo party, is running for congressman of this city. She filed her COC on Thursday, October 3.

Rep. Go explained his decision to seek this city’s highest position.

“Today, I am humbly and prayerfully answering the call of Baguio to serve as your mayor. Our city deserves a government that puts Baguio and its people first, with zero tolerance for corruption and true good governance,” he said.

“I will prioritize Baguio and continue to walk the talk. We will do this with the same competence, speed, compassion, and integrity that have defined my years in Congress," he added.
