Alt-pop all-girl band No Lore has released their latest single, "For All I Know Is Love," a deeply moving indie synth-pop track that advocates for the welfare of stray dogs in the Philippines. Inspired by the stories of aspins, this poignant song highlights the need for empathy and compassion for these voiceless animals. 

The track is a collaboration with Pawssion Project, an NGO dedicated to rescuing abandoned animals, and serves as the organization’s official anthem to raise awareness of the plight of strays.

With full backing from Off The Record and Sony Music Entertainment Philippines, No Lore has been empowered by their label, led by Ricky Ilacad, to bring this important project to life. The band’s unique fusion of art and advocacy is evident in their creative process, which seamlessly blends visual art, poetry, and music—a signature style that distinguishes them in the music industry. 

Vocalist and guitarist Tita Halaman, bassist Kim Escalona, and drummer Carole Lantican each contribute their artistic perspectives to the band, resulting in performances that truly embody their tagline: "Music from paintings with poetry."

Malou Perez, founder of Pawssion Project, expresses strong support for the release of "For All I Know Is Love," believing the song will inspire more people to show compassion for strays and help raise awareness for their cause.

“For All I Know Is Love” was first performed at Pawssion Project’s Pawchella event in 2022 and has since evolved into a powerful message of love and resilience from the perspective of stray dogs. "Aspins have always held a special place in my heart," Tita Halaman reflects. "This song was written from their perspective—those who, despite being hurt, abandoned, and rejected, continue to seek nothing but love."
 

The release of "For All I Know Is Love" includes a unique artistic element—an original cover art piece designed by No Lore’s own Tita Halaman. This artwork will be auctioned, with 100% of the proceeds directly benefiting Pawssion Project’s animal shelter, helping to provide essential resources for rescued and abandoned animals. 

The auction is part of No Lore’s larger effort to channel their creativity into supporting meaningful causes, showcasing not only their artistic depth but also their commitment to advocacy and social responsibility.

Accompanying the release is a special initiative called #SplatsForACause, which brings the cover art to life in a new, interactive way. Tita Halaman’s painting will be displayed at selected Pawssion Project events, where supporters can contribute by adding their own “splats” of paint to the artwork. Every splat, representing a donation, will go directly to Pawssion Project. 

This initiative gives fans and advocates the opportunity to become part of the artwork while also contributing to a vital cause.
