Espino of Pangasinan, running mate submit COCs

DAGUPAN CITY – Former Gov. Amado "Pogi" Espino III filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for governor on Saturday, October 5, at the Commission on Elections Office of the Provincial Election Supervisor at the People’s Astrodome here.

His running mate, former Dasol Mayor Noel Nacar, also filed his COC for vice governor under the Abante Pangasinan Ilokano party.

Others who filed their COC for board member were Nestor “Nikiboy” Reyes (second district), former Calasiao Mayor Joseph Arman Bauzon (third district), Mangaldan Councilor Aldrin Soriano (fourth district), former Urdaneta City Councilor Hero Sumera, and Rose Apaga (fifth district).

Urdaneta City Councilor Franco del Prado also filed his candidacy for congressman of the fifth district.

Espino and his family attended Mass at the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag in Manaog before filing the COC.
