The reigning champions scored a 96-84 win Wednesday night, Oct. 30, to move two victories away from hoisting the trophy once again.

The Tropang Giga had plenty of firepower to rip apart the Kings who were misfiring from the three-point line all series long.

“It’s very difficult. We’re [now] down 2-0. TNT going past a couple of games and right now to be honest, it seemed they got us figured out on their defensive side,” said Brownlee moments after their game Wednesday evening, Oct. 30.

“We have struggled offensively and it’s obvious,” he added.

Brownlee continued to struggle from the distance as TNT limited him to just four three-point attempts which he all missed. In Game 2 alone, Ginebra shot 27 times but only converted seven.

“They’ve really been scouting that, they've been on it, very well. It’s very obvious that they don’t want me to shoot threes,” Brownlee stressed.

Despite being locked down from beyond the arc, Brownlee had other ways to contribute as he still managed to topscore for Ginebra with 19 points on top of nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

The resident import is not one to surrender at this point as he remains optimistic of Ginebra's chances.

“But it’s the first of four, not the first of two. So, we are still confident, we still have faith in each other that we’ll figure it out,” Brownlee continued. “And try the rhythm in game 3 and turn the series around.”

The Gin Kings will try to get their first win Friday, Nov. 1.
