Executive Order 2024-069 implemented a temporary traffic rerouting scheme in roads leading to 11 big cemeteries.  The order also includes the designation of temporary parking areas for vehicles.

Executive Order 2024-070 prescribes the regulations outlining prohibitions inside cemeteries for firearms, bladed weapons, liquor, and other similar items.

Gambling and playing loud music are also prohibited.

Loud conversations are also not allowed except for religious ceremonies in the presence of a priest belonging to the parish of the particular barangay where the cemetery is located.

The executive order does not allow the wearing of hooded jackets, waistcoats,  and bullcaps, and the bringing in of backpacks.

Candle and flower vendors are allowed to sell their items at least 50 meters away from the entrance and exit gates of cemeteries.

The two executive orders are effective Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.

Some 50,000 residents are expected to visit 44 private and public cemeteries here.
