Actor Archie Alemania has been eased out of "Widow's War," the GMA series he stars in.
This was revealed by actress Rita Daniela in the affidavit she submitted to the Office of the City Prosecutor in Bacoor, Cavite, this, relating the act of lasciviousness complaint she has filed against the actor.
“...That I immediately reported the incident to GMA management, which acted promptly to remove the Respondent (from) 'Widows' War,' as the unbearable trauma it caused me made it impossible for me to work with him,” it read in part.
The complaint stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred September following a party, which both attended.
The actress stated Archie drove him home after the party, going on to force himself onto her, continuing with his advances despite her repeated attempts to push him away.
"Being a public figure, a contractual artist with a reputation to protect, it is very difficult for me to file this case, but the trauma I have experienced from the incident has given me the courage to face the consequences," Rita said in her complaint.
Sparkle Artist Center has since issued a statement relating the incident.
It read thus:
“We at Sparkle GMA Artist Center are committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
