Over 800 beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) received cash aid from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the Provincial Government of Bulacan on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29, at the Polytechnic College Covered Court.

Governor Daniel Fernando and Vice Gov. Alexis Castro led the distribution with the assistance of Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and the representatives from DSWD.
Beneficiaries received P2,500 from the DSWD, Fernando urged them to use it for the basic needs of their family and not for gambling and other bad vices.
The Bulacan governor urged not only the AICS beneficiaries but all Bulakenyos to take good care after the problems left by the strong typhoons Carina and Kristine.
Fernando also announced that another assistance is coming l from DWSD for the 85 thousand Bulakenyos who were affected by the flood caused by Typhoon Kristine.
"Iwasan nating makapanira ng ating kapwa, kundi magtulungan, mag-ingat ang lahat ngayong All Saints and All Souls Day celebration. Bago umalis ng bahay siguruhing nakasarado at nakalock ang mga bintana at mga pintuan sa harap at likod, naka off lahat ang swith ng mga ilaw at walang nakasaksak na mga appliances," ( Let's avoid harming our fellowmen, but work together, be careful during All Saints and All Souls Day celebration. Before leaving the house make sure the windows and front and back doors are closed and locked and all the lights are off and there are no plugged appliances)," the governor said.
