High-value individual yields gun, P136,000 shabu in Tanza

CAVITE – Authorities collared a high-value individual (HVI) wanted for illegal drugs in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Amaya 1, Tanza, on Monday, October 28.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the HVI as "Pards."

The suspect was apprehended after being caught selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer.

Confiscated during the operation were more or less 20 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P136,000, a gun, and live ammunition.

Alias Pards is now under police custody and is facing drug charges.

In a statement, Police Regional Office 4A Director Gen. Paul Kenneth T. Lucas commended the success of the joint operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cavite, and Tanza Municipal Police Station.
