PRO-1 head Police Brig. Gen. Lou Evangelista said 78 of them are from regional headquarters in this camp who will actively assist and advise on public safety.
“A red team with 34 members has been created to oversee compliance and readiness in all designated offices and units in the region,” Evangelista said.
Nine provincial supervisors have been appointed to provide crucial leadership and coordination in their areas to enhance security efforts, he added.
“This deployment highlights PRO-1's commitment in protecting the public and maintaining peace and order during one of the country's most widely observed holidays,” Evangelista said.
He said 204 personnel will be on standby at the regional headquarters and 27 members of the Regional Reactionary Standby Support are ready to respond quickly if any provincial police office in Region 1 needs extra assistance.
Evangelista commended the dedication and commitment of deployed personnel and emphasized the importance of collaboration and preparedness during this period.
"The presence of our officers and personnel during Undas reinforces our commitment to ensuring that the public can safely honor their loved ones during this solemn occasion," he said. "With a robust contingency plan and strategic deployment in place, we are ready to address any challenges that may arise."
