ILOILO CITY – Three suspected drug pushers yielded shabu worth more than P2.7 million in a buy-bust operation in this city on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The Iloilo City Police Office recovered 400 grams of suspected shabu from 30-year-old Anton, 24-year-old John, and 22-year-old Mae, all from Jaro District and tagged as high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade.

ICPO chief Police Col. Kim P. Legada cited the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) under Police Capt. Ryan Inot for their achievement.
“I salute you and I urge you to maintain the intensity of our campaign in partnership with the community for a drug-free Iloilo City,” said Legada.
Legada also cited backup units – Police Station 7, the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU-6), and Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA-Iloilo) – for the achievement.
The suspects face drug-related charges.
