Malabon City Mayor Jeannie seeks reelection


Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval filed her Certificate of Candidacy(COC) for a 2nd term at Robinsons Malabon on Thursday afternoon, October 3.

Members of Team Kakampi (TK) led by Sandoval also filed their COCs.

District 2 Councilor Edward Nolasco will run for the vice-mayoral post.

"Ito muli ang panahon para ihain sa ating mga mahal na Malabueño ang ating sarili para sila ay mapaglingkuran nang lubos at may pagmamahal. Ang pagpapasya ay nasa taumbayan. Alam nila kung sino ang dapat mamuno para isulong ang kanilang kapakanan na sinubukan nating pangalagaan sa loob ng mahigit 2 taon bilang Mayor. Nawa'y ang ating mabuting hangarin ay dinggin at pagpalain ng Panginoon Diyos (This is the time again to offer ourselves to our dear Malabueños so that they can be served fully and with love. The decision rests with the people. They know who should lead to promote their welfare that we have tried to protect in more than two years as Mayor. May our good wishes be heard and blessed by the Lord)," Mayor Sandoval said.


Running for councilors under Team Kakampi are Maricar Torres, Payapa Ona, Paulo Alberto Oreta, Genaro “Gerry” Bernardo, Ian Emmanuel Borja, Ma. Anna Lizza “Leslie” Yambao (District 1), Nadja Marie Vicencio, Jasper Kevin Cruz, Edralyn Yanga, Ma. Doelcarmen “Star” Dizon, Marjeniel May Mañalac, and AlNiño Galauran (District 2).

"Ito rin ang panahon para ipagpatuloy ang nasimulan natin sa malawakang ayuda sa Blue Card, programang palupa at pabahay, libreng edukasyon, tulong pinansyal at iba pang dagdag na benepisyo sa ating mga kababayan (This is also the time to continue what we have started with the extensive Blue Card aid, land and housing program, free education, financial aid, and other additional benefits to our countrymen)," she added.
