AboitizPower's Enerzones supports future electrical engineers

AboitizPower’s Enerzones supports future electrical engineers. The distribution business group of Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), in partnership with its subsidiary Subic Enerzone Corporation, inked a memorandum of understanding and agreement with De La Salle Lipa, Batangas to provide scholarships to selected electrical engineering students. The collaboration aims to cultivate a pipeline of skilled engineers and leaders who will contribute to the growth of the energy sector. This is the third partnership of its kind by the Enerzones, following similar agreements with the Bataan Peninsula State University and Saint Louis University, Baguio City, earlier this year. Signing the contracts are (pictured L-R) De La Salle Lipa dean of the College of Information Technology & Engineering Engr. Cherrie Villafuerte and chancellor Dr. Merlin Teodiza Suarez, along with Subic EnerZone president & COO Dante Pollescas and AboitizPower Distribution Unit SAVP-Human Resources Belen Catanduanes.
