Taguig LGU issues guidelines for Undas 2024

The Taguig City government issued guidelines for the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

On Nov. 1 and 2, thousands of people will be visiting cemeteries across the country to commemorate the dead.

The Taguig City government urged people to visit cemeteries early to avoid the crowd. It also urged cemetery visitors to bring water bottles as there will be water refilling stations in every cemetery.

It also listed prohibited acts in cemeteries in Taguig:

- Bringing and drinking alcoholic beverages

- Smoking or vaping

- Bringing of firearms and pointed objects like knives, cutters and scissors

- Loud music

- Gambling

- Bringing of toxic and flammable substances

It advised the public to guard their personal items and to be aware of people pretending to be religious persons or authorities who ask for money.

The city government also listed the hours of operation for the different cemeteries in Taguig.
