Rizal cops seize close to P1M shabu in Taytay

Police seized more than P950,000 worth of shabu from a high-value individual (HVI) during a buy-bust operation in Taytay, Rizal on Monday, October 28.

Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) director Col. Felipe Maraggun identified the suspect as a certain Jayson, 21, of Taytay, Rizal. He was immediately arrested following a buy-bust operation initiated by the intelligence unit of the police.

Marragun said the suspect yielded around 140 grams of shabu worth P952,000 during the operation in Cabrera Road, Barangay Dolores.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
