The Malabon City government won 10 awards at the 2024 Urban Governance Exemplar Awards headed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government - National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) on Monday, October 28.
The Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Audit and Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Audit received the High Functional award.

DILG recognized the Peace and Order Council (POC) and Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Audit as Top Performer while the Peace and Order Council Performance Audit was hailed as top performer.
The Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Audit received Ideal award and Moderately Compliant for the 2023 Manila Bay Clean-Up and Preservation Program (MBCRPP) local Government Units Regional Compliance Assessment (LCU-CA).
Meanwhile, the 2028 Manila Bay Clean -Up Rehabilitation, And Preservation Program (MBCRPP) Local Government Units Regional Compliance Assessment (LCU-CA) was recognized for the Most Improved award.

The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) received Exemplary Performance and the Barangay Panghulo landed first runner up for Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA).
“Ang mga parangal na ito ay nagpapatunay rin sa di-matatawarang dedikasyon ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Malabon sa pagbibigay ng Serbisyong Tapat para sa pag-ahon ng mga Malabueño (These awards also confirm the unforgivable dedication of the City Government of Malabon in providing Honest Services for the upliftment of Malabueños), the local government said.
“Sa bawat programa, patuloy na itinataguyod ng lungsod ang isang mas ligtas, maayos, at progresibong komunidad (With each program, the city continues to promote a safer, orderly, and progressive community),” it added.
