The Las Piñas city government on Tuesday, October 29, issued guidelines for the smooth and orderly observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day in the city.
Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) and City Health Office (CHO) will establish first aid stations in cemeteries located in the city.
They will be deployed at the Golden Haven Memorial Park, San Ezekiel Columbarium, Saint Joseph Cemetery, and Las Piñas City Columbarium starting October 31 to November 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Security personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) will also be deployed at the city’s cemeteries to ensure peace and order during the events.
Fore suppression teams from the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) will also be put on standby near the city's cemeteries on October 31 to November 1 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) of Las Piñas will issue a traffic rerouting scheme for motorists during the observance of Undas 2024.
