The Green Archers are making a return trip to the Finals following an 80-65 demolition from archrival Ateneo, hiking their tally to 10-1 while also boosting their bid to retain the crown.

“Sabi ko nga sobrang bait ni Lord binigay ‘tong mama (Quiambao) na ito sa amin. What I really admire about KQ is the work that he puts in,” said Robinson.

“Nobody in our team will question the work that he does, and setting the tone and the standard for the team,” he added.

Quiambao, the reigning Most Valuable Player, asserted his might and unleashed a career-high 33 points -- four more than his previous high of 29 he set against University of Santo Tomas -- while also grabbing 13 rebounds.

Robinson said it wasn’t only Quiambao’s athleticism that was admirable, but also his work ethic, adding that the versatile playmaker always strives to be better whenever he commits mistakes.

“He’s always man enough to admit when he makes mistakes. He really makes up for it and his teammates love him for that,” Robinson said.

Quiambao downplayed his achievements and said he was more focused on helping his team than gaining individual accolades.

“I think yong personal achievement kusa namang darating yon. Ang mahalaga nakuha namin yung panalo,” said Quiambao.

He also added that he and his stalwarts needed to remain humble despite being at the helm at the moment, saying that the competition is far from over.
