Roads near Manila North Cemetery will be closed for Undas 2024

The local government of Manila announced the temporary closure of some roads near Manila North Cemetery, in observance of Undas 2024.

According to the traffic advisory released by Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB), the following roads will be closed starting at 12:01 a.m. on October 31 until 7 p.m. on November 3:

  • Stretch of Aurora Boulevard from Rizal Avenue to Dimasalang Street
  • Stretch of Blumentritt from A Bonifacio to P. Guevarra
  • Stretch of Retiro from Dimasalang to Blumentritt Exit
  • Stretch of Maceda from Makiling to Dimasalang
  • Stretch of Simasalang from Makiling to Blumentritt
  • Stretch of P. Guevarra from Cavite to Pampanga

Authorities said vehicles from La Loma and Chinese Cemeteries may take the stretch of Rizal Avenue or J. Abad Santos as point of entrance or exit.

All vehicles coming from Blumentritt Road should turn left to Cavite Street then turn right to Leonor Rivera and vehicles from Dimasalang Road intending to utilize Blumentritt Road must turn right to Makiling.

Meanwhile, the trailer trucks and other heavy vehicles coming from A H. Lacson Avenue intending to take Dimasalang Road may go straight to Yuseco Street to point of destination and vice versa.

The motorists were also reminded to only park on the following roads to give way for the visitors of the MNC:

  • Stretch of Aurora Blvd. from Rizal Ave. to Dimasalang
  • Stretch of Blumentritt from A. Bonifacio to P Guevarra
  • Stretch of Retiro from Dimasalang to Blumentritt Ext.
  • Stretch of Maceda from Mailing to Dimasalang
  • Stretch of Dimasalang from Makiling to Blumentritt
  • Stretch of P. Guevarra from Cavite to Aurora Blvd.
