The San Juan City local government said on Monday, October 28, that it will implement a rerouting scheme along Boni Serrano Avenue from November 1 to 3, to ensure a smooth traffic flow during the observance of Undas.
Motorists are urged to plan their trips and take alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
Meanwhile, guidelines were also released to ensure a peaceful and orderly observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in the city.
Cemeteries will be open to visitors from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Visitors were also reminded of the following:
- No weapons or sharp objects like knives or ice picks are allowed
- Alcoholic beverages and entry under the influence of alcohol are prohibited
- Gambling is not allowed
- Loud items like radios or stereos are prohibited
- Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited
- Selling without a special mayor’s permit is not allowed
- Do not litter near gravesites
- No unauthorized electrical connections; approval from the Engineering Department is required
Bicycles and motorcycles are also prohibited inside the cemeteries.
