Pasig LGU issues guidelines, cemetery schedules for Undas 2024

The local government of Pasig City released guidelines, traffic advisory, and operating schedules of cemeteries in the city for the upcoming observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in November.

The city advised the public of the operating hours of the following cemeteries from October 31 to November 2:

October 31

  • Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Pasig Catholic Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Santolan Catholic Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sta. Clara De Montefalco Ossuary - 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Pasig City Cemetery (Barracks) - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

November 1

  • Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Pasig Catholic Cemetery - Open 24 hours 
  • Santolan Catholic Cemetery - Open 24 hours
  • Sta. Clara De Montefalco Ossuary - 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Pasig City Cemetery (Barracks) - Open 24 hours

November 2

  • Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Pasig Catholic Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Santolan Catholic Cemetery - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sta. Clara De Montefalco Ossuary - 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Pasig City Cemetery (Barracks) - 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

It added that the Pasig City Cemetery Office (barracks) will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from October 31 to November 2.

The public is also advised that starting at 2 p.m. on the said dates, a one-way scheme will be temporarily implemented at C. Raymundo Avenue, northbound from E. Angeles Street to Mercedes Avenue. They were advised to take an alternative route.

Visitors to cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums are also reminded that bringing any alcoholic beverages, firearms, or sharp objects is strictly prohibited.

Gambling is also prohibited on the premises, along with bringing items that may create noise or loud sounds.

The local government also urged visitors to bring enough food and drinks if they plan to stay longer in the cemeteries, as well as umbrellas and raincoats for protection against the sun or rain.

Meanwhile, it advised people who have symptoms of flu not to go to cemeteries and just stay at home to prevent the spread of the disease.

For peaceful and orderly observance of Undas, it assured the public that all cemeteries have designated first aid tents and police desks located near entrances.
