New Cavite PNP acting director assumes post

CAVITE – Col. Dwight E. Alegre officially assumed as acting Provincial Police Office (PPO) director in a transition of command ceremony in Camp Gen. Pantaleon Garcia in Imus City on Monday, October 28.

Alegre replaced outgoing Cavite PPO Director Col. Eleuterio M. Ricardo Jr.

Present during the event were Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, who officiated the ceremonial turnover of command, and guest of honor Cavite Gov. Athena D. Tolentino.

During the event, Lucas presented Ricardo with an award recognizing his contributions to the province's peace and order initiatives.

Ricardo thanked the Cavite police for their support, dedication, and diligence in carrying out their mandate.

Alegre, meanwhile, pledged his commitment to continue upholding the safety and security of the province.

“Makaakaasa po kayo na ang PNP Cavite sa ilalim ng aking pamumuno ay mananatiling nakahandang maghatid ng maayos at epektibong serbisyo sa inyo (You can count on the Philippine National Police Cavite under my leadership to remain ready to deliver efficient and effective service to you),” Alegre said.
