Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo endorses 3rd District Rep. Chua

Manila Vice Mayor John Marvin "Yul Servo" Nieto reiterated his full support for incumbent Third District Congressman Joel Chua as he seeks for reelection in the 2025 polls.
During a recent "Ugnayan" of the local ruling party Asenso Manileño, the vice mayor raised Chua's hand in a display of overt endorsement for him as their official candidate for Manila's third district congressman.
Nieto's formal endorsement is expected to put to rest the intrigue that arose when he attended a bingo event in the third district which was sponsored by a barangay official supporting another candidate.
At the event, Nieto said his presence was merely to oblige the invitation and call for support for his party list.
According to him, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan is his inspiration when it comes to public service and his loyalty to the lady mayor, Chua and their party will always remain.
Meanwhile, Chua said he never doubted Nieto's loyalty to the party as he called on the vice mayor's critics to stop sowing intrigues.
Chua is one of the five incumbent congressmen who have stayed by the side of the Lacuna-Servo tandem, believing that the duo can best lead the city at least in the next three years.
He added that a good majority of the current Manila City congressmen and councilors are also part of the ticket of Lacuna and Servo.
