National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor visited social media personality Boss Toyo's store, showcasing the dress she wore when she won "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" in 1967.
During the episode of his YouTube show "Pinoy Pawnstars" last Oct. 25, Nora brought her dress to the store not to sell it but to help raise funds for the victims of typhoon Kristine.
(When I won 'Tawag ng Tanghalan', that's what I wore. But I won't sell it. I just brought it for you to see because — my real goal is that maybe you can help our countrymen who were affected by typhoon Kristine in Bicol)
Boss Toyo (Jayson Luzada), also shared with Nora that he and other social media influencers plan to extend their help to those affected by the typhoon.
Although Nora's vintage dress was not planned to be sold, Boss Toyo explained and assessed that the dress could cost around P5 million.
(It's great, ma'am, that you have this [dress], but do you know it's worth? I'm just guessing it's not less than five million pesos, because you are the only Nora Aunor, and this is the dress you wore when you were starting)
With his overwhelming feeling, Boss Toyo also mentioned that he would save up his money just for the dress and put it in his Museum of Celebrity memorabilia.
Sa January may museum na ako,” he said.
(Ma’am, if you ever change your mind, I’ll save up to buy this and put it in my museum. By January, my museum is already built.)
Boss Toyo also took the opportunity to have his vintage Nora Aunor-inspired dolls signed by Nora.
